The Targets are the intended recipients of the Schedule : the Action will be performed for them only.
You can see this as a mailing list for example.

Schedule Target example

Adding/removing Targets

To add an item (Role, User) from the list of Available items, select it and click the > icon.
To add all items from the list of Available items, click the >> icon.
To add an item from the list of Subscribed items, select it and click the < icon.
To add all items from the list of Subscribed items, click the << icon.

Roles

You can target a list of Roles.
All users who have this Role will be a Target.

This is the most efficient way to maintain the Targets, because you won’t have to edit the Schedule anymore, only the Role.
For example, if you want to add or remove users as Targets of this Schedule, you can just add or remove the dedicated Role to them.

Users

You can target a list of Users.
All individually selected users will be a Target.

External e-mails

You can target a list of e-mails.
This allows to send e-mails to users who are not registered Users on Alpana Server.
To include several e-mails, use the comma , character.

This is the least efficient way to manage it, because you will have to edit the Schedule every time the e-mail changes.
Also, you won’t be able to force a Refresh as an Action.
