Start browsing for Tags
Click on the Browsing tab (open by default) to start browsing for tags to pick :
Navigating the Tag hierarchy
The Insight Tag hierarchy is presented in a tree on the left, organized by the Location property of the Tag.
Click on a +/- in the tree to unfold/fold a Tag group (grouped by location).
Click on group name to view the list of Tags under that group.
The list of Tags in the currently selected group is presented in a list on the right.
Filtering the Tag list
Filter by Tag name or property
In “Search tags”, select a property to search :
- FQN : the fully qualified name for the tag
- TagName : the name of the Tag
- Source : the data source
- Description : the Tag description
- Alias : the Tag alias
- TagDataType : the data type
Then enter the desired text to search and click “Apply” to filter Tags whose property contain that text.
You can also check for an “Exact Match” only.

In “Filters”, you can filter the tag list by data type :
