Manual Exports

From the Dashboard viewer, Dashboards can be manually exported to several formats.
After completion of the export, your file is ready and your web browser proposes a “download” or “save as” dialog.

*Note : If instead you wish to schedule automated exports, please the chapter on Schedules.

Two levels of exports are possible :

• exporting the full Dashboard
• exporting a single Widget from the Dashboard
  

Exporting the Dashboard

To export the full Dashboard, click the Export button in the top bar :

Several formats are available for exporting :

Image

The Dashboard is exported as an image file.
Choose a File name, an Export Mode, and an Image Type :

Export Mode

Dashboard can be exported in two modes :

• Whole dashboard : all widgets are included in the export
• Select widgets : only the selected Widgets are included in the export
  

Image Type

Supported image types are :

• JPEG (default)
• PNG
• BMP
  

PDF

The Dashboard is exported as a PDF file.
The PDF file spans several pages, to make room for all the Widgets.
It contains a header with the export date, and a footer with page numbers.

Choose a File name, and an Export Mode :

Excel

The Dashboard is exported as an Excel XLSX spreadsheet.
The data for each Widget is in a separate sheet of the same file.

Choose a File name, and an Export Mode :

• Select widgets : only the selected Widgets are included in the export
  

Exporting a Widget from the Dashboard

To export a single Widget, click the Export button on the corresponding Widget :

*Note : this may be enabled or disabled for each Widget, see the corresponding chapter.

Several formats are available for exporting :

Image

The Widget is exported as an image file.
Choose a File name and an Image Type :

Image Type

Supported image types are :

• JPEG (default)
• PNG
• BMP
  

PDF

The Widget is exported as a PDF file.
The PDF file may spans several pages, to make room Grid widget with large content.
It contains a header with the export date, and a footer with page numbers.

Just choose a File name.

Excel

The Widget is exported as an Excel XLSX spreadsheet.

Just choose a File name.

CSV

The Widget is exported as a CSV text file with comma , separators.

Just choose a File name.
