Background Chart style

The style of the background chart can be changed by selecting from the Basic Settings > Series Type list :

Axis Interval Type

(new in 2020 R1)

This configures the labels that will be displayed on the time (X) axis :

• Years : only the year is displayed
• Quarters : both the year and the quarter is displayed
• Months : both the year and the month is displayed
• Days : both the year and the “day + month” is displayed
• Auto : the interval is selected automatically depending on the time span of the data
  

Clicking an axis label (like the year number) will select that period.

Note : this does not define the date format of the Parameter when filtering, this is defined by the formatting of the Argument (see Binding Data)
