The Action defines what will be executed when the Trigger happens.
There are two types of Actions :
Refresh open dashboards
This will force open the Dashboards of the Target users to refresh.
This is useful for implementing even-based refresh :
You have a Dashboard on a TV screen logged with UserTV.
You want to refresh the data in the Dashboard only when a new batch has been completed.
You set up :
- a Trigger that is based on a Data Condition corresponding to “batch was completed”.
- an Action to Refresh open dashboards
- as Target, User

Send email
This will send an e-mail to the Targets with an export of the Dashboard as attachment :
Attachment format
Select the desired file format for the attachment :
- Image
- Excel
The Dashboard will be exported to the corresponding format and attached to the e-mail.
Layout Configuration
Image and PDF exports require to choose a Layout.
Subject
Write the subject field of the e-mail.
Content
Write the content of the e-mail using a rich text editor.
Placeholders
In the content and Subject, you can use some placeholders for displaying some variables values :
{SCHEDULING} : the name of the Schedule that is running
{DASHBOARD} : the name of the Dashboard exported
