Major upgrades : Upgrading from 3.x to 3.y
A license activation is only valid while the first two numbers in the version don’t change.
Example : from v3.0.1.1
to v3.0.2.2
, the license is still valid because you’re still in v3.0. You don’t need to activate your license again. It works normally following the upgrade.
Example : from v3.1.2.1
to v3.2.0.1
, the license is not valid anymore because you upgrade from v3.1 to v3.2. You will need to activate your license again.
When the upgrade involves a change in major version (from v3.*.*.*
to v4.*.*.*
) or minor version (from v3.1.*.*
to v3.2.*.*
), and the license needs to be fully activated again.
You will need to submit again a license file and do a full activation.
