Introduction

The Energy Rating Widget represents the energy rating of equipments.
The rating is calculated from an analog/real value of energy consumption :

  • primary energy consumed, in kWh, or in a normalized unit such as kWh / m²
  • mass of CO₂ equivalent, in kg(CO₂eq), or in a normalized unit such as kg(CO₂eq) / m²
    This analog value is converted to a discrete rating as a letter/color combination : A, B, C, D, etc…

The following fields are available for configuring data binding on a Energy Rating Widget :

  • Value : The analog measurement to be displayed as a grade.
  • Brand, Model Type, Machine Type : text properties of the machine
  • Split into many widgets : allows to create many sub-widgets dynamically, to compare equipments for example

Energy Rating example

Value

This is the analog input value that will be turned into a grade.

This field must be aggregated : it must have a single value in order to be turned into a single grade.
This field is required.

Brand, Model Type, Machine Type

Brand

This is the machine brand name, to comply with regulatory display.

Model Type

This is the machine model type, to comply with regulatory display.

Machine Type

These fields are additional text properties to display in the label.
They can be used to add regulatory information, or other metadata to help explain the consumption behavior of the machine.

Group By : Split into many widgets

This represents the series field used to generate a different contained Energy Rating for each different value in this field.
This allows to create many sub-widgets dynamically, for example one for each Equipment, or one per month.

This will turn the widget into a container, and generate a complete different chart for each value in the series field, contained in the Widget.
The layout of the charts inside the container is configurable.
Please see the corresponding chapter to configure the view of the Widget container.

This field cannot be aggregated : it must have several separate values in order to create several separate series.
This field is optional.
