Fixed Sized Cells

Layout view switching occurs when our system or browser zoom values reach a given threshold: This is why we have a “sudden” observation of our widgets organizing in a completely different layout when our zoom value ( or screen size) changes.

In some cases, some widgets may seem broken due to a current value too close to some threshold values or edge cases.

Thus we provide “fixed cell size” feature to help us out defining a more refined cell size in pixels when designing in the designer.

To access, a user can open Alpana Designer, layout editor

and then in layout modes desktop section enable following option

This would refine canvas cell size enabling us to define how should our desktop layout look like on preview or published.

!We should keep in note that enabling this feature makes prevents our desktop layout from being responsive while not reaching mobile view layout threshold.
