System values

System values

Alpana provides application specific values to enhance contextualization. An example usecase may be to customize viewed data according to the connected person on Alpana Server for instance Director A may only display data A available on the dashboard :

1. Server username : connected users name
2. Server username role: connected users role in the associated tenant.
3. Server backend: connected users server backend address, including ip and port.
4. Server frontend: connected users server frontend address including ip and port
5. Current time.

We can access the parameters via Alpana Designer Parameter editor panel as followed.

We got following example of label widgets using system values and are currently rendered in designer mode.

As observed, in designer mode, some values aren’t yet available as they will fetch associated value once published on Alpana Server.
