Runtime Connections

(new in Alpana 2020 R1)

Alpana Runtime Connections are tables of data hosted within Alpana Server.
Dashboards can connect to this data to display it inside widgets (see Alpana Runtime Connection from the Designer).
Dashboards can present data input forms to allow users to fill these tables.
The table’s schema and data can be configured in Alpana Server.

A typical use-case is to replace Excel-based data input with a solution that is scalable, secure, and compatible with the usage within a web server.

To access Runtime Connections management within Alpana Server, use the Runtime Connections menu :
